initiator "sustainisme", cultureel adviseur, (en co-founder The Beach ).

 

Het "Sustainisme" (een nieuw woord, voor een nieuwe wereld) vormt de kern van mijn huidige projecten. Samen met Joost Elffers, publiceerde ik begin 2011 het eerste product over het sustainisme: "Sustainism is the New Modernism: A Cultural Manifesto for the Sustainist Era" (New York, DAP/Distributed Art Publishers, New York). http://www.sustainism.com
In manifest-vorm brengt dit boek vele interessegebieden bijeen van mijn werkzaamheden van de afgelopen twinig jaar. Tevens is het een 'onderzoeksagenda' voor de toekomst.

Mijn eerdere adviesprojecten en opdrachten bevinden zich op het snijvlak van cultuur, media, technologie en maatschappelijke trends. Als adviseur en cultureel programmeur van vooral publieke organisaties en initieerde ik projecten op het terrein van cultuur, innovatie, vormgeving, media- en cultuurbeleid, de informatiesamenleving, architectuur en ruimtelijke planning. Met Diana Krabbendam en Jan van Tiel was ik in 2006 mede-oprichter van The Beach, de netwerkorganisatie voor 'creatieve innovatie'.
